Terms of Service
What you can expect from us, what we need from you, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Effective and last updated
01Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Blueprint Print Co of Panorama City, California, United States (“Blueprint”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you browse blueprintprintco.com, ask for a quote, or place an order. By using the site or checking out, you agree to them, to our Shipping policy and Returns & reprints policy, and you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order.
02Using the site
You may use this site to learn about our products and to order them. You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, through the site;
- upload malware or anything designed to disrupt, probe or overload our systems;
- scrape, copy or resell the site, its prices or its content in bulk, or use automated means to place orders;
- impersonate anyone, or use someone else’s payment details without permission.
03Products and prices
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping and sales tax, which are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Colours on a screen are an approximation of ink on a substrate. Product specifications describe typical results, not guarantees for every file.
If a price or description is clearly wrong — a typo, a technical fault — we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will tell you and offer the correct price or a full refund.
04Orders and payment
Checkout and payment are provided by Shopify. Placing an order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we begin production, and we will confirm by email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if payment fails, the order looks fraudulent, or the artwork breaks these terms — and if we do, you will receive a full refund.
By paying, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method.
05Your artwork
You keep all rights to your artwork. By sending it to us you confirm that you own it, or have permission from whoever does, to reproduce it in the quantity ordered, and you give us a limited licence to store, check, reproduce and ship it for your order and any reprint.
We will not print, and may cancel and refund an order containing, artwork that:
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights;
- is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or promotes violence or hatred against people or groups;
- sexualises minors in any way, or is otherwise obscene;
- is intended to deceive — for example counterfeit labels, badges or official documents.
We do not review artwork for legal ownership. If a claim is made against us because of artwork you supplied, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
06File checks, proofs and print quality
We print in CMYK. Some bright on-screen RGB colours cannot be reproduced exactly in ink, and slight variation in colour and in cut position (typically up to 1/16″) between screen and print, and between separate runs, is normal and not a defect.
Our in-browser file checker is guidance. If it flags a problem and you order anyway, we will contact you before printing where we can; if you confirm, we print the file as supplied. Standard orders are printed from your file without a physical proof; ask before ordering if you need one.
07Production and delivery
Production normally takes 2–4 business days from the time your artwork is received and approved. Carrier transit time is additional. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, unless we agree a deadline with you in writing. How and where we ship, and what happens if an order is late, lost or damaged, is set out in our Shipping policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered.
08Cancellations, returns and reprints
Every order is made to your artwork, so it can be cancelled for a full refund only before production starts, and it cannot be returned for a change of mind. If we make a mistake, or your order arrives defective or damaged, we will reprint it or refund it. The details and time limits are in our Returns & reprints policy.
09Custom quotes
Quotes for custom work are valid for 30 days and are based on the information and files you give us. If the job changes, the price may change, and we will confirm any new price before production.
10Our content
The site’s design, text, code, logo and graphics belong to Blueprint Print Co or its licensors. You may not reuse them without permission, except to share links to the site.
11Copyright complaints
If you believe something printed by us or shown on this site infringes your copyright, email info@blueprintdtla.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; where the infringing material appears or the order it relates to; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
12Disclaimers and limits of liability
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or missed events. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited, or our liability for fraud, gross negligence or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems are fixed with a reprint or a refund. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, either of us may bring it in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, or in small claims court where it qualifies.
California consumers: under California Civil Code § 1789.3 you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
14General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms; the version shown when you place an order applies to that order, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. These terms, together with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between us about the site and your orders.
